Building back links should be an essential part of your SearchEngine Optimisation (SEO), as if you build them well they provide freetraffic to your website for years to come. But be warned build themwrongly and they can actually harm your Google Page Ranking.Ifthey are built the right way Google will just love your site and youcan realistically aim to get in the top ten e.g. the first page onGoogle for your chosen keywords, unfortunately if Google sees thefollowing happen then your website could disappear from Google for anawfully long time, or worse case forever!Google looks fororganic growth, and so if you suddenly have two hundred back links allfrom site with a Page Rank (PR) of seven (PR7) within less than a weekof your site being launched, then sure enough it will look more than alittle suspicious to Google. Indeed the only way that this can occursis if you have bought back links from another site.Personally Iwould not advise this as you may see a site offering a back link from a"Medical" site, and if you have a medical site it may able to you tobuy a back link, but until you have handed over your money you willhave no idea what site is linking to you, and with back links to siteswith a high PR being offered at several hundred dollars per month(Sorry I should have mentioned that for most of the "Paid" back linkservices you have a monthly fee, not just a one off payment) this to meis a very high risk as you have no idea if the content of their medicalsite remotely matches yours!Basically link building is not easy, and if someone offers some form of link building that is too good to betrue then it probably is.There is no quick route to buildingback links to fool Google into thinking you are the most popular guy onthe block, if there was everyone would be doing it. So build linksorganically, but do not just focus on link building as your sole SEOstrategy. One of the best ways to build links is to find otherblogs on a related topic to your content and post a meaningful commenton one of the posts with a link back to your website, but note that ifyou just post a spam comment it is unlikely to get approved.
